The Q-Scan process is designed to quickly assess performance and identify improvement and cost savings opportunities. It is a cost effective way to find performance enhancement solutions in less than 30 days. Q-Scan is typically completed over a period of 2 – 4 weeks with time variables being data availability and access to the facility and staff. There are four phases to the Q-Scan process:

1. Discovery – On site assessment, observation and interviews
2. Compilation – Data analysis, preparation and review by OPG team
3. Confirmation – Verification of observations, recommendations and findings
4. Presentation of Findings - Executive level presentation and findings discussion

At engagement completion the client is presented with a formal presentation of findings and a hard copy report.
